Chicken Casserole

This is a warm winter dish that is great for dinner and lunch .

Ingredients you will need :

4 skinless, bone-in chicken breast halves
2 stalks celery, cut into thirds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup cooked rice
6 ounces sour cream
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups crushed buttery round crackers
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Method :

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Bring to a boil the chicken breasts, celery, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, and enough water to cover. Cover, reduce heat to medium low; simmer for 35 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid. Cool chicken, remove meat from bones, and cut into bite-size pieces.

3. In a large bowl, stir together sour cream, soup, broth, celery salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in cooked rice and chicken. Spoon mixture into a 9×13 inch casserole dish. In a resealable bag, shake together crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle crackers over the top.

4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Chicken and mushroom steak

This dish you give you the aaaahhhhhhss and oooooossss from your guests .Its simple ,it’s great and easy to make .

Ingredients you will need :

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 pounds chicken cutlets
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
1 pound button mushrooms, trimmed and quartered
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method :

1.Place flour in a shallow dish. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat with flour, shaking off excess.

2.In a large skillet, heat oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high. In batches, cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and tent loosely with foil.

3.Reduce heat to medium, add thyme, mushrooms, and remaining 2 tablespoons butter, and cook until softened, 6 minutes.

4.Add chicken broth and cook, stirring, until reduced by half, 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Return chicken to pan along with any accumulated juices; top with parsley.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake is Dangerously Addicting , you just can’t stop eating this cake once you’ve taken a bite out of it.

Ingredients you will need :

For the cake :

Vegetable oil cooking spray
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for pans
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sour cream
3 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2, 1/4 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 ,1/4 cups mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon instant espresso powder

For the glaze :

1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces chopped semi sweet chocolate
Pinch of salt

Method :

1.Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 12-cup nonstick bundt pan with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, whisk boiling water into cocoa powder and the instant espresso powder until smooth; whisk in sour cream. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until incorporated. Then beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture in three additions, alternating with 2 additions of cocoa mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

2.Scrape batter into prepared pan and bake until tops springs back when lightly touches, 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack set over a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Let cool 15 minutes, then turn our onto rack and let cool completely.

3.Bring cream to a boil in a medium pot. Add chocolate and let stand 5 minutes. Add salt and stir until smooth. Let stand 10 minutes, then pour over cake allowing the glaze to drip down sides and cover cake. Let set 3 hours at room temperature or 1 hour in refrigerator.

Turkish Burma Baklava Rolls

Eating this turkish Dessert will make your dreams come true .

Ingredients you will need :

1/2 box phyllo dough pastry sheets
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cups pistachios, chopped finely
2 tablespoons honey

Syrup :
1 cup sugar
1 , 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey

Method :

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).

2.In a large saucepan add the sugar,water,lemon juice and the 1 tbs of honey and bring it to a boil stirring frequently till the syrup slightly thickens.

3.once the syrup has started to thicken , take it off the heat and set it aside.

4.melt the 1 cup of butter.

5.in a bowl, mix the 3 cups of chopped pistachios and the 2 tbs of honey together.

6.grease a casserole dish with a bit of butter.

7.Grab two sheets of phyllo pastry and butter them both , stake them on each other and fold in half length wise.spoon 2 tbs of the pistachio mixture and roll it in to a small finger length roll , then Place it in to the greased casserole dish and repeat this proses until all of the phyllo sheets have been used.make sure to place the rolls tightly stuck to each other in the casserole dish .

8.spill the remaining butter on to the finished baklava rolls.

9.cook in the oven until the rolls go slightly golden yellow.

10.once the baklava rolls have been cooked ,spill the syrup Immediately onto the rolls straight after you have taken them out of the oven.

11.let the rolls soak the syrup for about 2 -2,1/2 minutes , then drain the Access syrup so the rolls don’t go soggy .let it cool down after draining the syrup.then serve.

Cinnamon Greek Baklava

A Greek favorite that makes everyone think you are a master chef and is sooo easy to make!!

The ingredients you will need :

1 (16 ounce) package phyllo dough
1 pound chopped nuts
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup honey

Method :

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C). Butter the bottoms and sides of a 9×13 inch pan.

2. Chop nuts and toss with cinnamon. Set aside. Unroll phyllo dough. Cut whole stack in half to fit pan. Cover phyllo with a dampened cloth to keep from drying out as you work. Place two sheets of dough in pan, butter thoroughly. Repeat until you have 8 sheets layered. Sprinkle 2 – 3 tablespoons of nut mixture on top. Top with two sheets of dough, butter, nuts, layering as you go. The top layer should be about 6 – 8 sheets deep.

3. Using a sharp knife cut into diamond or square shapes all the way to the bottom of the pan. You may cut into 4 long rows the make diagonal cuts. Bake for about 50 minutes until baklava is golden and crisp.

4. Make sauce while baklava is baking. Boil sugar and water until sugar is melted. Add vanilla and honey. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

5. Remove baklava from oven and immediately spoon sauce over it. Let cool. Serve in cupcake papers. This freezes well. Leave it uncovered as it gets soggy if it is wrapped up.

This is an amazing Dessert , you will not stop eating it once you’ve started .

When buying fresh fish fillets you should always follow these hand tips :

1.smell the fillet , it should smell briny and fresh , not fishy and stinky.

2.feel the fillet, the fillet should be firm and Close to hard , not soft .

3.when buying salmon fillets , always make sure the Colour is close red and orange, if the fish is old it will be bright pink or even close to white .

Eating old meat can be very Dangerous ! It can cause you Salmonella poisoning, which usually results in diarrhea and vomiting and can require hospitalization in severe cases especially in those with poor immunity. Salmonella is a bacteria present in many foods, but can increase in numbers in old food . When the bacteria multiply, they are more likely to cause many illness.

So take care and be careful when you buy fish 🙂

Quick And Easy Pasta Sauce

Quick , easy and awesome pasta sauce that will impress anyone in thinking you spent hours cooking 😉

The ingredients you will need :

1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

Method :

1. In a hot skillet, saute bell pepper and onion on medium-high for 5 minutes.

2. Add garlic and saute one more minute.

3.Stir in tomatoes , italian Seasoning and chicken broth.Then Remove from heat.

4.Place mixture in blender and blend until the desired level of chunkiness is achieved.

5.Return to medium-low heat. Stir in tomato paste And Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then serve
